3. Business-Focused Service
insy8.ai and insy8 AI are designed for business users and enterprise clients. The Services are not intended for personal, household, or consumer-only use, although some privacy laws may still apply to certain personal information we process in connection with business relationships.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
Information you provide directly
name, company name, job title, and business contact details; email address, mailing address, phone number, and account credentials; billing and transaction information; support inquiries, sales communications, and other correspondence; prompts, files, inputs, outputs, documents, and other content submitted through the Services.

IP address; browser type and version; device and operating system information; authentication and session data; service usage logs, access timestamps, and security event data.

identity and sign-in providers; payment processors; service providers and infrastructure vendors; your employer or organization, if they provision or administer your account.

provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services; create and manage user accounts; authenticate users and protect account security; process transactions and administer commercial relationships; provide support and respond to inquiries; monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service reliability; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and communicate with you about service updates, security notices, billing, and support matters.
7. AI Processing and Customer Content
If you use AI-enabled features, we process prompts, files, queries, documents, and related content to provide responses, summaries, classifications, or other outputs.
We do not use customer prompts, files, or submitted data to train our general-purpose AI models.
Where we process Customer Content on behalf of a business customer, we do so as a service provider or processor as described in the applicable customer agreement.
8. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following:
performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests, including operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Services; and consent, where required by law.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only cookies and similar technologies that are reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and provide the Services, including login, authentication, session management, and fraud prevention functions.
We do not currently use non-essential analytics cookies or advertising cookies on insy8.ai.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.
10. How We Share Personal Information
We may share personal information with:
cloud hosting and infrastructure providers; AI and technology service providers; payment processors and administrative vendors; professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal counsel; affiliates or service providers acting on our behalf; and courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other authorities where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Known categories of service providers and subprocessors may include OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), along with other vendors needed to operate the Services.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
11. International Data Transfers
We may process or store personal information in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Security, access, and operational logs are retained for up to 12 months, unless a longer retention period is required by law, needed for an investigation, or reasonably necessary to protect the Services or our legal interests.
We may retain account and service records for a reasonable period after account closure or contract termination where necessary for billing, compliance, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or backup recovery.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no system or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

California DOJ guidance describes rights including knowing what personal information a business collects, deleting personal information, opting out of sale or sharing, and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Because we do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at this time.
16. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and business users only and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete the information where required.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, integrations, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties, and you should review their policies separately.
